■ Client Review Summary

❝Hello, Attorney!

I don't know if you remember me. I may have just passed through your memory as one of many protected juveniles. You left an even stronger impression on me because you were the judge who gave me a community-based disposition and a chance to reflect and grow. One day I searched your name on Naver, and I was very surprised to see that you had become a lawyer in the meantime. Honestly, I still wonder why you didn't send me to juvenile detention and instead sent me back home..

If I had gone back to juvenile detention then, or received an institutional disposition again, I might not be living as I am now and could have spent my time blaming myself in emptiness and helplessness. It was all thanks to Judge Yoon Ji-sang (you are a lawyer now, but ^^ I will still call you Judge.) that I was able to establish myself as a member of society and live diligently. I really wanted to meet you in person and thank you, but I thought you would be very busy, so I am conveying my feelings in this letter."

■ Attorney’s Comment

"During my time as a judge, I still remember each and every child I met in the Juvenile Division. I believed that giving them a chance to start again within society, rather than sending them to juvenile detention, could change their lives. Seeing that time has passed and you have become a fine adult who sent this letter, I feel that the judgment I made then was not wrong. I sincerely hope you continue to live healthily and with confidence."
