Hello. I am Yoon Ji-sang, Managing Attorney at Law Firm Jeonjae.

As the managing attorney of Law Firm Jeonjae, I am truly honored to begin my career as a lawyer. First, I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who has trusted me.

From Judge to Lawyer, What Changes and What Remains the Same

My experience as a lawyer is still limited. But during my time as Chief Judge at the Seoul Family Court and Daejeon Family Court, I handled countless cases and met countless parties. Divorce, inheritance, custody, property division — family cases cannot be resolved by legal principles alone. Within them are people’s lives, emotions, and daily routines that must be restored.

In the judge’s seat, I made decisions. In the lawyer’s seat, I hope to walk alongside clients while looking in the same direction. What changes is the position, and what does not change is the attitude of trying to understand the essence of the case.

I am convinced that when my experience as a judge meets the expertise of the attorneys at Law Firm Jeonjae, it can create great synergy. Understanding what logic the court pays attention to and what evidence it considers most important — and incorporating that perspective into a client’s strategy. I believe that is my role at Law Firm Jeonjae.

A lawyer is someone who helps envision life beyond the dispute

For a lawyer, resolving legal disputes is the most important task, and of course something that must be done. But it should not end there.

Relieving the emotional pain clients are going through. Helping them step away from conflict, return to their work, and get back to ordinary life. I believe that is the essence of practicing law. Expertise, responsibility, and above all, a spirit of service. Only when these three are in place can we provide assistance truly worthy of the name lawyer.

Since its founding, Law Firm Jeonjae has focused on this essence. Even in an era when the legal market is changing rapidly every year and new lawyers continue to emerge, Law Firm Jeonjae has been able to grow steadily thanks to the hard work and dedication of its attorneys. I, too, will contribute to taking that momentum even further.
