Regarding media reports that Spire Entertainment filed a complaint against Omega X's legal representatives in May 2023 on charges of spreading false information, we would like to correct the facts.

Correcting the facts

Although Spire Entertainment reported in May 2023 that it had filed a complaint against the legal representatives on charges of defamation by stating false facts, as of now, eight months after the complaint, we have not received a summons from the police, nor have we been served with a complaint.

Our personal addresses, phone numbers, and office addresses have not changed. The claim that we are intentionally refusing to cooperate with the investigation is not true.

Facts confirmed by two court decisions

The assault, threats, indecent assault, abuse, and other acts against Omega X disclosed at the press conference in November 2022 have already been recognized through two court injunction decisions. Through the injunction suspending the validity of the exclusive contract and the injunction ordering the removal of the broadcast concerning YouTuber Injiwoong, the court confirmed that the above acts had occurred.

Nevertheless, distributing a press release based on false facts at this point can only be seen as a third act of harm intended to obstruct Omega X's normal activities and efforts to attract investment.

Current legal action underway

Omega X has filed complaints against Spire Entertainment CEO Kang Seong-hee and Chairman Hwang Seong-woo on charges including assault, indecent assault, violation of the Act on the Punishment of Sexual Crimes, obstruction of business, and defamation by stating false facts, and the investigation is currently underway. Civil lawsuits, including claims for damages, are also being pursued in parallel.

In addition, Law Firm Jonjae also states that it will immediately take strong legal action against Spire Entertainment over this false information dissemination.

The Omega X matter was a tragic case that showed how greedy adults in this society can trample on the dreams of young people.

We hope they overcome their wounds, are never hurt again by unjust power, and can fully pursue their dreams.
