This is a case in which child support was not paid for more than 10 years after the spouse ran away. It established the legal principles for claiming past child support and, by rebutting the other party’s defenses of the statute of limitations and failure to comply with visitation, led to a successful full award judgment of approximately KRW 70 million using the child support calculation guidelines.
