It’s limited guardianship, not adult guardianship — the criteria the court used to change the guardianship type

We analyze a case in which adult guardianship was initiated at the trial court level but changed to limited guardianship on appeal. The court respected the ward’s right to self-determination and, considering family conflict, appointed an expert (a lawyer) as guardian. This case shows the criteria used to determine the type of guardianship.
